By renowned local photographer David Rogers, the coastline scene has been blown up and converted to decals to cover all the windows at the main entrance to the Bega Valley Shire Council building.
"It's awesome, I'm absolutely thrilled with it," Mr Rogers said this week as he headed off on a coastal adventure of a different kind.
As we spoke to Mr Rogers, he was getting in a Sydney taxi excitedly heading for the airport and a trip to photograph whales in the stunning Ha'apai Lagoon in Tonga with fellow Far South Coast photographer Peter Hannan and the crew from Merimbula Marina.

Mr Rogers said he was passionate about showcasing the beauty of our coastal environment, as well as its fragility, and hoped his photography helped people make better decisions about their environment and plastic pollution.
"I think we should all treasure the beauty we have."
He said he "great thought" to what image he would submit for the idea after being invited to by the Bega Valley Regional Gallery director Iain Dawson.
"There are so many great images of this shire and it was hard to know what would represent it best.
"But I just love the coast and I thought this one looked the most typical of the region and can represent anywhere on the Sapphire Coast.
"I haven't told anyone exactly where I took it!" he added with a chuckle, preferring to keep the stunning location close to his heart.
