Tanja Public School walked from the coastal village to Bega this week to raise money for Oxfam Australia.
The Walk Against Want is an annual event raising money for development projects, humanitarian relief efforts, and advocacy campaigns in 27 countries across the globe.
The pupils, along with staff and parents, collected four bags of rubbish, mostly consisting of plastic bottles and takeaway packaging, along the way.
Pupil Oscar Wasikowski said he's already looking forward to next years walk, and said the downhill section of the hike was the hardest part.
Acting principal Danielle McGrath said the pupils will continue the conversation around helping people in need in Australia and abroad.
