It was performed as a sign of friendship with Bega's sister city Littleton in Colorado, USA, on the country's Independence Day.
The Bega-Littleton exchange groups alternate visits to each other's country every five years at the two-and-a-half year interval, where they stay with host families.
A 22-person delegation of Bega residents visited Littleton in August last year, continuing the close friendship between the two places which first began in 1961.
During the visit the delegation presented Littleton a four-foot-high steel statue of a kangaroo with a baby.
