Last week, children from the Bega Preschool enjoyed a visit to Bega Woolworths to learn more about fresh produce and see the behind the scenes running of the supermarket.
The Woolworths Fresh Food Discovery Tour was an extension to the the preschool's daily Munch and Move program.
This supports healthy development of children by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and the importance of reduced screen time.
The Munch and Move program fits within the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
The preschool is also supported by the local Coles store which donates fresh fruit and vegetables for the children.
