The popular event attracted a field of 27 to contest the sashes despite what officials said were some patchy conditions - cloudy with some gusty winds - and cool temperatures on the day.
The club thanked Phil and Pauline Body of RV Repairs for their continued support of the event and praised the entrants saying there were some "great performances evident across the grades".
Officials said it was Chris Davis' day, showing everyone how to shoot the continental format - dropping just four targets across his four sets of 25 to take out the championship sash and ammo prize.
He remarkably hit 96 of the possible 100 and officials said it was fantastic to see a regular supporter of the club having a tremendous round.
In the regular grade scoring, Alf Niesar scored 91/100 to win the AA grade event from regular Cooma visitor Steve McIntyre, who collected 87 of his 100 targets to finish in the runner-up spot.
A Grade went to Bob Duncan with another good score of 91/100, with Craig Field in second place on 90/100.
After a short lay off from meets, it was Mark Evans celebrating his return with some cracking form to take out B grade with the second best score of the day, hitting 95/100.
Regular Bombala visitor, Malcolm O'Brien, took second place with a score of 85/100.
Meanwhile, C Grade went to Nick Davis who shot 88/100 for victory ahead of runner-up Mick Durnan just four behind on 84/100 for second.
Christel Feldmann took the ladies prize with a score of 71/100.
Presentations followed the round with the grade winners each collecting their sashes, while club president Phil Body thanked everyone who took part and wished the visitors a safe trip home.
Club members expressed their thanks to Phil and Pauline for their ongoing sponsorship of this major event on our Club calendar.
A spokesman for the club said the support of key annual events was critical in attracting the visiting members the club has garnered and encouraged continued good response to events.
In July the club will hold a versatile meet aimed at giving everyone a good test.
There will be a 30-target double barrel round, followed by 30 target single barrel and a 20pr double rise event.
Practice will be from 9.30am at the Tarraganda range with competition starting in earnest at 10am.
New members and visitors are always welcome.
