Deakin is accused of two counts of murder and one count of grievous bodily harm with intent to murder after allegedly attacking his grandmother Gail Winner and retired Merimbula police officer Mick Horne on June 1 last year.
His arraignment date was stood over to Friday, August 2 by Justice Elizabeth Fullerton in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, June 7.
