The turf club hosted a seven-race TAB card to celebrate the Jazz Festival in Merimbula over the long weekend with Jess Taylor the winning jockey in the headline race.
Officials said Jarrett was developing something of a reputation at Sapphire with five wins from five starts at the track.
The runner was level-pegging with the Michael Travers-ridden Irish Lucy coming into the 400, but a great dash to the finish had owners jumping for joy as Jarrett held off quick runs from Irish Lucy and a late charge by Pinch Passion to finish about two lengths clear.
Ms Bateup enjoyed further success in race seven when Kayla Nisbet rode Monegal to a win with a huge surge in the final sprint to sneak past both Shipway and Drake the Pirate ridden by Josh Richards and Scott Pollard respectively.
Simon Miller was the jockey of the day, riding two winners with the prize in race three on Barbara Joseph's Future Dreams and also in race five on the Luke Pepper-trained Tycoon Tily, while there was varied success for riders and trainers across the day.
Club officials said they were thrilled with the large turnout who enjoyed glorious sunshine for the day, while also commending everyone who donned their finest as part of the "masquerade ball" themed fashions.
There were prizes for best dressed lady, man, couple and boys and girls with officials saying there were some fantastic entries.
