The annual Winter Appeal and Blanket Ride collected a mountain of blankets, pillows and warm clothing from community members and local businesses, gifting the results to the volunteers at Bega Vinnies for distribution this winter.
The ride coincided with the annual ski gear sale at Bega Vinnies, where ex-hire gear donated from the snow field operators was as popular as always.
Members of Kokoro Kai Goju Karate ran a barbecue on the day as a fundraiser for the local dojo.
