Organiser Linda Lord said $1500 was raised during the high tea event, and a further $1000 donated to the cause.
The theme of the day was "Frocks, Fascinators and Fedoras", she said.
Sapphire Coast Anglican College Year 12 student Liam Sutherland joined Kalaru resident Ben Parker on stage to perform to the crowd.
"I would like to thank the businesses in Bega and Tathra who donated gifts for prizes," Ms Lord said.
"There was also a fashion parade and auction of Nelleke Gorton's Royal Easter Show first place winning rich fruit cake, auctioned by Guy Higgins."
