In an effort to educate the community about fire prevention and safety, Fire and Rescue NSW is hosting it's annual open day on Saturday, May 18 at the Bega Fire Station between 10am and 2pm.
There will be demonstrations, a station tour, education on how to use a fire hose and a free sausage sizzle.
During the year 2017-18 Fire and Rescue NSW attended over 120,000 emergencies across the state and received almost 70,000 fire emergency calls.
