The Wallagoot Lake Boat Club announced the winners of its series during presentation day on Saturday. The day closed a successful season, with 28 different skippers contesting club races, and the biggest regatta for decades that had 52 boats enter.

Monohull champions are Rob and Sian Morton, on their MG14 "Wizard of Oz". In second place Tony Hastings and Luca Dorrough, on MG14 "Superfly". Third was Josh and Jarrah Dorrough on NS14 "Yikes".
Multihull Champion is Terry Ubrihien on his Nacra 4.5. Second was Joey Lydiard on his Mosquito "Star" ahead of Dennis Stanton's Weta "Tokoriro".
The Handicap-start series was won by Neil Fisher on his Sabre "Windsong", ahead of Bob Harris' Sabre "Stormy Petrel" and Sian Morton's Sabre "Gillyweed".
Neil also won the Morrie Lynch Sabre trophy, and the Sprint Series.
Second in the Sprint series was Terry Kirby ahead of Joey Lydiard.
Sian Morton was awarded "Best Female Sailor". Luca Dorrough won both "Best Youth Sailor" and the "Rising Star" award for most improved.
With the season over, the club looks ahead to next season, and possibly some winter social sailing.
Club Secretary Terry Kirby said "We would like to keep the ball rolling with some social get together's, starting from noon on May 19 at the Boat Club.
"There will be a social sail and picnic (byo), with seats available for those without boats.
"Should the sailing not be possible bring along a picnic and a board game for fun in the club house."
