Dr Kelly said Labor's investment would contribute much-needed improvement to the sports grounds and facilities, and ensure people in Narooma have the chance to play sport and be active.
"Investing in upgraded facilities will mean we have more capacity for the growing female participation in sport, and support more people to live active, healthy lifestyles," he said.
"Whether they dream of playing for Australia, or just want to enjoy the health and social benefits that come with being part of a community sporting club, we want to give everyone the chance to enjoy sport."
Dr Kelly said the money would help establish a second rugby league oval and another netball court, as well as improved clubrooms, grandstands, and lighting.
"I have been collaborating with the hard-working local committee who have been advocating for these upgrades," he said.
