He returned on Saturday, May 4 to win the male title over friend, protegee and last year's champion, Gerard "Doody" Dennis.
Dennis broke the Yiannaros stranglehold on the title in 2018, with Jimmy Yiannaros runner-up.
Jim did not contest this year's event, but his twin brother came back from a close second in the heat to win the final and reclaim the crown for the Clyde River oyster family.
Third for the second year running in a closely fought contest was Greg Carton of Broadwater Oysters at Pambula Lake.
