Eden's Anzac Day march drew large crowds clapping, cheering and flag waving as service men and women past and present marched down Imlay Street to the cenotaph

The ceremony at the Cenotaph was delivered by RSL president Steve Mahoney.
Recently returned from the Middle East, Eden woman and Able Seaman Mardi Longford delivered the prayer for the nation.
Mr Mahoney said it was most important future generations are aware and participate in Anzac services.
Among others in the service the younger generations held a strong presence, delivering speeches honouring their relatives and other heroes of war.
Eden Marine High representatives said although Anzac Day was day of remembrance, it was also a day of celebration of the human spirit. The spirit of our Anzacs.

They paid tribute to the Anzacs as women and men who will forever be remembered as everyday humans with tremendous strength and will forever be remembered for their strength, courage and values of mateship.
Representatives of Eden Public School paid tribute to women in service. Another student shared the story of her great-great-grandfather Richard Fyshwick who volunteered for service in WWI. She told the story of his brave history in surviving major battles and trench warfare in France and Germany. Upon his return to Australia he was awarded the Victory Medal, the 1914-1915 Star and the British War Medal.
After the morning's proceedings lunch was served at the RSL hall.
