This month Tathra Oysters has taken out awards in not just one but two competitions for their product - and are finalists in a third.

Three of their entries in this year's Sydney Royal Easter Show won gold and one received a silver, with one of the gold-winning entries also being named champion oyster of the show.
They have also been announced as a winner in the sea category of the state 2019 delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards for their Nelson Lake five-year-old Sydney rock oysters.
Then to top it off they are one of six finalists in the prestigious President's Medal with the winner to be announced this week.
With so much recognition, do Tathra Oysters owners Gary and Jo-Anne Rodely get medal fatigue?
"No, the only thing I wish is it was the start of the season rather than the end of the season so we had more time to utilise all these good vibes we've got as a result of the win!" Mr Rodely said.
As they are state winners of delicious. it means they are going on to the competition's national judging in May.
In fact they have been delicious. winners nearly every year since their first win.
They have also been a consistent winner at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, winning several champions over the last 18 years, as well as the inaugural President's Medal in 2006.
"We never take it for granted," Mr Rodely said.
"It's a recognition of the wonderful asset we have in Nelsons Lake where we grow our oysters.
"Nelsons is truly a wilderness estuary and it's something so highly protected and valued by the local people.
"That's why there's the ability to produce wonderful seafood year after year."
All up, in their years of operation Tathra Oysters has won 205 medals.
Mr Rodely said they say they have been judged Australia's best 29 times, due to winning competitions with the Royal Agricultural Society, delicious. and the now defunct Oyster Association.
Tathra Oysters sells about half a million oysters each year as well as about two million baby oysters to other farmers.
Mr Rodely said all the awards also gave their employees recognition they had all been doing a great job.
