If you happened to pass by Panboola Wetlands this morning on Saturday, April 13, you would have found the grey headed flying- foxes weren't the only creatures to have moved in. Taking a leisurely stroll around the wetlands you would have seen a crowd of creatives whittling spoons, weaving, singing, dancing or doing whatever takes their fancy participating in the range of workshops on offer. And perhaps you too may have been creatively inspired by the landscape of the wetlands.

Youth dance organisation Fling Physical Theatre took the audiences on a journey through the wetlands with a vibrant roving performance, meanwhile Mid north coast sculptor Shona Wilson took a small group of artists through the landscape to create collaborations with nature; a series of sculptures from the natural surroundings.
Organiser Belinda Rosenbaum said the festival had taken off smoothly and she was thrilled with the diversity in workshops and the response from the community.
"It has been a beautifully successful day, attracting a vibrant mix of people have turned out to join in in the workshops."
