"Tahj needs help with his rehabilitation, and his mother has had to quit her job and will have to stay home to care for him," club manager and secretary Rob Tweedie said.
Mr Rob Tweedie and race promoter Jess Ryan said the club often helps community members in desperate need.
"Occasionally something comes up when people need help, which is hard because so many people need help," Mr Tweedie said.
"We want to help people in the community in any small way we can."
Tahj's father tiled the club's new jockey's room, to help accommodate the increasing number of female jockeys racing at the Kalaru track.
Tahj has recently been transferred from Canberra University Hospital the Liverpool Brain Trauma Hospital to undergo his rehabilitation.
A fundraising page has so far also raised $26,997 for the family in just one month.
