The 2019 FSCDGA Pennant Season Grand Final will be played this Sunday at Eden with Bega Division 2 & Seniors making the final. With Division 1 bowing out after a titanic struggle against Mollymook at Narooma, Div 2 defeated Moruya 4/1 whilst Seniors defeated Narooma 5/0. The Bega teams have had a great year and we wish the two remaining teams the best of luck this Sunday against Bermagui and Catalina respectively.
Women
Last Saturday the Bega Ladies played a Par event. A bit of drizzle for a couple of holes made the going a bit heavy. Wendy Hergenhan won with -3, runner-up was Sue Behl on a countback with -9. Barbara Ubrihien was the only Nearest the Pin winner with the best 2nd shot on the 18th.
Wednesday was a Stableford. Gay Ward came in with the best score of 36 points, Monica Cullen was runner-up with 34. Nearest the Pins were won by Wendy Hergenhan on the 9th and Monica had the best 2nd shot on the 18th. Monday Ladies didn't play due to the rain.
Last Friday Bega played Bermagui at Eden in the first round of Pennants with Bega the winner 4/1. This week we play Tathra at Eden again, good luck ladies.
Saturday & Wednesday are both a Stableford. Several Ladies are playing in the Far South Coast and Tablelands Tournament at Narooma next week, good luck to all.
