But where will you go to get yours?
On Saturday, March 23, NSW heads to the polls. Many will be keen to use their voting privilege for the candidate/s of their choice, others will be there simply because it's compulsory.
But one thing many of us can agree upon is that a sausage in bread or an egg and bacon roll is the best part of election day.
At Bega High School's polling booth (the car park on Auckland St) the Bega Lions are holding both a barbecue and club information stall from 8am until 2pm.
Grab yourself a snag as well as learn more about what the Lions Club does in the area for the community.
All profits from the barbecue will be donated to the high school for Bega Lions' specially funded programs within the school.
At Bega Valley Public School, the school's P&C will be serving up egg and bacon rolls throughout the morning for $5 each.
The barbecue will be running from 9am until 11am. The P&C will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a VW Golf Polo! All proceeds will go to planned improvements to the BVPS playground area.
