Country Women's Association members from branches on the Far South Coast travelled to Batemans Bay on Saturday to celebrate the 85th birthday of the Batemans Bay branch.

Members from CWA branches in Bega, Cobargo, Narooma, Bodalla and Moruya joined Batemans Bay to help celebrate.
Publicity officer Maureen Kinross said it was a wonderful evening to catch up with significant CWA members from the past and present.
"It was a great evening with a lot of talk; the catered meals were fantastic also," she said.
The historical society provided a display of memoirs from the 1950s and 60s.
Historian Glen Tulip reminisced on the history and achievements of the Batemans Bay branch.
