Thursday saw a good field attend with Lee Cross the day’s winner (for the second week in a row) with a strong 41 pts.
Second place was Jamie Smith with a solid 38 pts. Great golf everyone!.
Saturday saw some equally strong scores despite the windy weather with the A grade winner being Andrew Dick (again) with 38 pts.
C grade winner with 39 pts was Jason Edmunds whilst the best round of the day went to B grade winner Like Donnelly with an impressive 41 pts. Congratulations to all.
The nearest to pins were won by: (9th) M Elliott & T Allen, (12th Golden Shot) D Van Bracht, (15th) J Roberts, L Donnelly & M Watson, (17th) A Dick, L Donnelly & N Newton (18th) G Boyd & L Billman.
This week’s event is a Single Stableford, so grab a friend and enjoy our wonderful course.
The 2019 FSCDGA Pennant Season Semi-Finals are to be played this Sunday with all Bega teams competing.
Division 1 will play Mollymook at Narooma whilst Division 2 play Moruya and Seniors play Narooma at Pambula-Merimbula. Good luck to all sides in the finals series.
Ladies
Bega Ladies played for the March Monthly Medal and Putting on Wednesday. Once again Wendy Hergenhan was the best with 73 nett. Kerry Carter was runner-up with 75. Kerry was also the Nearest the Pin winner on the 9th and Gillian Petersohn had the best 2nd shot to win the 18th. Veronica Coman won the putting on a c/b. Balls were awarded to 81.
Last Saturday a Stableford was played and Barbara Ubrihien was the winner with 33 points. Kerry Carter was runner-up on a c/b from Wendy. Kerry was the Nearest the Pin winner.
Monday 10-Hole Ladies played a Stableford and Marie Watson was the winner. Lorraine Gregson was 2nd and the putting winner. Gillian Petersohn was 3rd.
Pennants starts this Friday, Bega plays Bermagui at Eden, good luck to players. Saturday is a Par and next Wednesday is a Stableford.
