Seven club members travelled to Canberra over the weekend to join with more than 200 masters squash players to take on the 40th anniversary of Masters Squash in the ACT.
Officials said the Bega outfit performed incredibly well against some highly experienced competition.
Leanne Crowe carded a win in the division two ladies event, while Janelle Curtis matched the result taking out first place in division four.
Other entrants included Robert Blacker, who was the plate winner in men's division 11.
Dennis Curtis finished runner-up in the division 13 men's plate event.
Also competing but unplaced were Keri blacker Ladies division 9, Zip Summerell men's division 10 and Tony Atkins Men's division 17.
All players aged over 35 are eligible to enter masters events and players of all abilities are welcome.
"Masters Squash is a fun way to play against similarly graded players, social with fellow squash players, get some exercise and visit other areas," a spokeswoman for the Bega club said.
A NSW Championships is held in June and the Australian Squash Masters in September, this year on the Gold Coast
The next Masters tournament will be in Bathurst on April 6-7, while the club's local foray, the Grand Hotel Bega Masters will be on May 4-5.
The masters players are also highly active in the club's regular competitions.
