British blues powerhouse Bex Marshall has returned to Australia for an extensive run of shows, during which she will perform in Merimbula.

She is known for her unique style of guitar playing which pushes the boundaries of blues – a combined technique of slide, blues rock with electric ragtime and roots picking.
“There’s not many female players doin’ what I’m doin’, I like the idea of mixing things up," Marshall said.
"My style of playing surely didn’t happen overnight, and it’s difficult for me to begin to explain how I actually do it sometimes, but it’s a mixture of ragtime, slide and bluegrass with loads of lead licks kickin’ in all at the same time, which means I’m playing two time signatures simultaneously.
"I have bass lines going on while my percussive beat is slappin’ the strings."
Marshall will perform at Club Sapphire, Merimbula on Friday, March 15 with doors at 8pm. Tickets $25, this is an 18+ event. She will be supported by Bonnie Kay and the Bonafides
