South Coast Police are urging the public to remove valuables from their cars and to lock their cars when unattended.
According to police, there have been several incidents of items being stolen from motor vehicles over the last week in Bega and Eden, in many cases the cars were unsecured.
"Police urge the public to be mindful of their valuable items and not become a victim of theft," police said on Monday.
