A special blessing took place in Quaama this week. The historic Anglican Church, Saint Saviour's, was dedicated in 1907, and has never had toilet facilities. This has been an inconvenience for over a century!

Finally, a toilet block with required ramp and railing are in place. The local community has worked for several decades to achieve this milestone. On Sunday, Rev. Tim Narraway of the Anglican Parish of Cobargo, blessed the new facilities.
The Cobargo Parish has historic churches in Bermagui, Cobargo and Quaama. These buildings are much loved places of worship and also significant in the history of each village. Maintaining the buildings is an ongoing responsibility for Parish Council.
Next Tuesday, March 5, will be Shrove Tuesday, known to many as "Pancake Day". There will be a traditional pancake night, beginning at 6pm in the hall at Christ Church, Cobargo. All are welcome to join us for tasty pancakes and a pancake tossing competition. Proceeds will support The Men's Shed at Bermagui.
Men's breakfast
We’re all set for another bumper breakfast get-together on Saturday, March 2, at the usual 8am. What a terrific time we had last Breakfast, and Wassim was a most interesting and entertaining speaker.
What do you know about the wonderful world of Wales? Like most people, probably not much. We know quite a bit about Scotland, Ireland and England because of our heritage. But Wales is a fascinating little country with a rich and colourful history which, aside from rugby and male choirs, seems to fly ‘below the radar’. And we are fortunate to have our own Welshman to tell us all about it. Tudno Rees has, for sure, the legendary Welsh ‘gift of the gab ‘ and will regale us with great gusto about the country of his birth. Something to look forward to.
As usual great tucker and fellowship and don’t forget to bring a mate(s) if you wish. $8.00 donation if you can, some of which goes to our charities MAF and TEAR.
We are looking forward to catching up with you again on March 2nd.

World Day of Prayer
The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by women. It moves in a circle in our Tathra churches, and this year at St Martin By The Sea, Tathra, will be holding the service at 10am on Friday, March 1. This year the chosen country is Slovenia, a country that was weathered hard times. This worldwide service and sharing of a meal hopes to raise funds for this country. All are welcome at St Martin By The Sea at 10am on Friday, March 1.
