Officials said the winds were fresh on most sailing days with warm, clear weather encouraging a good turnout of boats each week. 

Saturday's racing was flawless with 12-18 knot winds, which officials said were the "Goldilocks Zone; not too strong, not too light - just perfect". 

There were two handicap starts where the slower boats launch early and the faster boats give chase. 

Derek Lewis managed the task, planing his Contender around the course to win by just 18 seconds from Terry Ubrihien's Nacra and Josh and Jarrah Dorrough in third. 

Bob Harris won race two in a borrowed Sabre, 23 seconds ahead of Josh and Jarrah. 

Joey Lydiard brought his beautifully restored timber NS14 home for third, a fraction of a second ahead of Derek’s Contender. 

Tony Hastings and Luca Dorrough also had a blast in the Twofold Regatta last weekend with some cracking pace until they unfortunately snapped the mast. 

The duo offered a return invitation for any of the Eden sailors to join in for the weekend at Wallagoot. 

Officials are anticipating a fleet of about 30-40 boats including mono-hulls and multi-hull craft. 

However, the pair said the WLBC were helping get a new mast rigged and would be back on the water soon.
