A Malaysian national accused of inappropriately touching a boy at Tura Beach has been forced to surrender his passport after being deemed a potential flight risk.

The 62-year-old man from Liverpool in Sydney's West pleaded not guilty in Bega Local Court on Tuesday, February 26 to intentionally sexually touching a child under the age of 10.
Police allege the offence took place at Tura Beach on February 9.
The man, who is currently on a bridging visa, was arrested by the Far South Coast Child Abuse Unit on February 19.
He remains on strict bail conditions which include surrendering his passport to authorities and not entering an airport or any other point of international departure.
Magistrate Doug Dick adjourned the matter to Bega Local Court on Tuesday, March 26.
