The man, aged in his 30s, faces six counts of aggravated indecently assaulting his stepdaughter, while the mother of the girl, also aged in her 30s, has pleaded not guilty to concealing the crimes.
Both faced Bega Local Court on Tuesday, February 26 in relation to the alleged assaults which police allege took place between February and April last year.
Court documents reveal the mother allegedly failed to notify authorities about three offences in April, and also allegedly concealed information which police say would have lead to the man's arrest.
The man is yet to enter a plea and remains on conditional bail.
Magistrate Doug Dick adjourned both matters to Bega Local Court on March 26.
