It is the 10th year the group has participated.
Volunteers will meet in the beach car park at 9am and will work through the sand dunes from the creek at the southern end of the beach northwards to the top end of the beach caravan park.
This usually takes about two hours, if you cannot stay for two hours that is fine. Everyone is welcome including children.
CUAD bags and registration forms will be supplied.
Volunteers are advised to wear long sleeves and pants, gloves, strong shoes and a hat.
In previous years they have found a variety of rubbish, but mainly bottles and cans, and also remove weeds such as bitou bush and coastal spurge.
The full rubbish bags will be left at the car park to be removed by the council the following week.
