Saturday’s Bega Show on February 16, was full of life, colour and shenanigans. Smiling faces of young and old could be seen from sideshow alley right round to the wood chopping arena.

Although the sun was hot that didn’t deter show goers who took the sun’s rays in their stride. The outskirts of the show’s arena’s were jam packed full of people sitting back in the shade and taking in the action of the horses, wood chopping, chainsawing and motorbikes.
Dare devils took to the ghost train as well as braving the spinning cha cha ride and turning themselves inside out on the shock wave.
Along sideshow alley children and children at heart tried their luck at winning a potluck keep sake.
In the main pavilion, people could be seen casually strolling admiring the exquisite show winning pumpkins, honey, cakes, flowers, and scarecrows (just to name a few).
