The service said the ban is due to: “Hot, dry and very windy conditions across NSW.”
The Bureau of Meteorology predicts temperatures up to 32 degrees for Bega on Tuesday with a “severe fire danger” rating for the Far South Coast.
There are also predictions of a late shower in Bega to hopefully bring some relief.
The service urged people to think about what they will do if their home is threatened by fire.
“There are difficult and dangerous fire conditions tomorrow … (ask yourself) when will you leave, what will you take and where will you go,” the service said.
