Areas of the site have been levelled so big vans will not need to go on the Cobargo Showground’s oval and there are extra camping areas.
The reason for the works was as last year the arena became very packed, Yuin Folk Club president Peter Logue said.
“We tried to free that up a bit so smaller vans and tents will go on the arena,” he said.
Other improvements were a permanent cool room, work inside the bar and the road has been extended behind the showground site down to the creek to provide extra locations to camp.

“We have been working with the showground trust and the show society for improvements around the site and have plans for improvements next year,” Mr Logue said.
“We are urging people who want to camp to get in early – last year we had to close the camp on the Saturday for the big vans, but there is a bit of extra space this year.
“Tickets are about the same level as last year, but we’re expecting a rush in the next few weeks.”
