His was working on tuna boat. This was taken during a good run of tuna and published in a paper and I think also in a Sydney paper but not totally sure. There is also a copy in the Watson Bay Hotel in the sports bar.
Just wondering if it is possible to find out any more information about the photo?

Threats of violence
Last Friday lunchtime while parking in Carp St I was verbally and physically assaulted by a young tradie that thought he had a god given right to take up two spaces with just one car.
After enduring a good five minutes of repeated threats of violence the young man finally backed off, when I took out my phone to call the police and record his rego number. I am 55 years old but big enough to look after myself and decided to let the matter rest there. But on reflection I would urge anyone in a similar position to not tough it out as I did but to call the police at the first sign of trouble.
Bega can do without these kind of... err um... people.

Tough love request
“Ice – turning family pain into power”, is a volunteer support group on the Far South Coast for families feeling the ripple effects of ice use.
We have been given an amazing opportunity to host the Tough Love seminars by Peter Lyndon Jones from Shalom House in WA. We now hope those who follow us will help us bring Peter to the Eurobodalla in early April.
The ice epidemic is not slowing down and we are seeing families falling apart, substance users losing everything. If we had known the tough love strategies we would have saved our own families a heartbreaking journey through hell.
Please donate what you can at uk.gofundme.com/tough-love-seminar-peter-lyndonjames; we never have asked for financial assistance for what we do, but the hours we put in weekly prove the need for education and awareness is growing.
Together we are stronger.

Disturbing omissions
Most of us in the Bega electorate would have received Andrew Constance’s letter spruiking the Liberal government’s so-called “achievements”. However, the disturbing aspect of Mr Constance’s letter centres on what the letter does not contain; no environment initiatives, in fact, no mention of the environment anywhere in the letter.
I suppose the content isn’t that surprising given the contempt the NSW Coalition government has towards the environment and anything environmental. The past destructive environmental record of the Berejiklian government includes, but is certainly not restricted to:
The appalling lack of management regarding the state’s land clearing legislation during which an officer from the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) was murdered trying to enforce.
The appalling management of the state’s river systems by allowing large agribusiness to decide policy and restrict environmental flows, as evidenced by the recent mass fish kills.
Cutting 200 of the world’s most experienced fire/operational staff from the NPWS by an ongoing restructure.
The cutting of over $100m from the NPWS budget since 2011 that has literally halted many of the state’s most successful pest weed and animal eradication projects.
Opening up remaining NSW old growth forests areas to more commercial logging by changing logging selection criteria.
Lobbying for commercial logging to occur within our national parks, such as the Murray Valley National Park.
Introduction of the Kosciuszko Wild Horse Heritage (Brumby) Bill that will effectively decimate the NSW Alpine environment, not to mention trash the water catchment quality of Australia’s most important catchment area.
Based on this record and under the destructive influence of the NSW Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party, NSW national parks, forests, river systems and remaining natural environment are doomed if the present government is re-elected.
