The newly launched Bega Valley Innovation Hub is taking applications for its University of Wollongong led iAccelerate Educate Program.
Hub manager Mia Maze said the the 12 week program, which will begin in March, is designed to “better prepare startups, scale ups and existing businesses for engagement with customers and investors, and for sustainable long term growth”.
Last week it was announced the program, while managed from the university’s Bega campus, will be run from Bega Valley Shire Council’s Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre.
“We look forward to working with the Innovation hub to support economic development and job creation for our region,” Bega Valley Shire mayor Kristy McBain said.
An information session hosted by the hub for interested applicants will be held at the university campus on Tuesday, January 15 from 5.30pm.
iAccelerate helped launch 210 products in 2018, with half of all founders female.
