“There’s about 30,000 books, but I’d hasten to say it’s more than that, certainly from what we’ve seen,” club treasurer Charlie Blomfield said.
One attraction this year is a whole gardening library, at the book fair which has been running for about nine years.
“People still like to be able to hold something when reading rather than have something purely electronic,” Mr Blomfield said.
The book fair will be held at the pavilion at the Bega Showground, Bega from 9am-5pm Friday and Saturday, January 11-12, and 9am-1pm on Sunday, January 13.
Entry is by gold coin donation and sales are by cash or EFTPOS.
Bring a bag as there will also be a fill a bag deal for $50.
