Club officials said they were excited to host their first race meet of the new year with a number of classes to tear up the dirt around the Tantawangalo loop.
The full sweep of regular classes will be on show when racing gets underway from 5pm on the weekend.
Classes include the Super sedans, the Production Sedans as well as the Limited Sedans.
Adding flavour on the day will be the popular karts series, juniors and the vintage modifieds all getting out on the loop for a series of races.
Club officials said they were proud of the family-friendly nature of the club with a free jumping castle and a lolly drop from the race tower on the night to entertain the youngsters.
Entry is $15 for adults and kids under 14 are free with gates to open from 3pm.
The Sapphire Speedway has a full canteen and amenities.
The Speedway is located on Tantawangalo Lane off Mogilla Road near Candelo.
