For the third year, the group has been performing Christmas songs on the streets of Bega.
“It seems to be well regarded by the businesses and members of the public, we get a lot of positive comments,” band treasurer, who plays the euphonium, Dave Moore said.
He said one of the reasons people loved Christmas carols was because they were so well known.
“They have a lot of attempted jazzy-up versions in supermarkets, but people love the more traditional sound,” he said.
“They can recognise them and we all enjoy playing them.”
The band was taking donations during the performances, with money raised going to buy instruments, support performers or build up their music library.
Mr Moore thanked the nearly 40 businesses which have supported its members during the Carols on the Street.
Keep an eye out for the band when walking around Bega on Friday, December 21, which will be the last day of their street performances.
