Five students featured on the NESA Distinguished Achievers List by received at least one Band 6 result in a subject.
The school’s principal Linda Thurston said she was pleased with the student’s top results, which included 13 students receiving Band 6 results.
“More than 50 students combined vocational education frameworks with Board Developed courses to achieve these valuable credentials,” Ms Thurston said on Friday.
“Five students accomplished at least one Band 6 in a subject and featured on the NESA Distinguished Achievers List.
“Two of those students, Judith Browne and Riley Murdoch, achieved five Band 6 and four Band 6 respectively.
“Riley also placed eighth in the State in the Hospitality Framework Examination.”
Ms Thurston said Legal Studies teachers Denise Perry and Alana Coates were “extremely impressed” with their student’s results.
“Two students, Kaylah Faulkner and Riley Murdoch, achieved a Band 6 in the course and nearly half of the group achieved a Band 5 or 6,” Ms Thurston said.
“The school congratulates all Year 12 students for successfully completing their HSC at Bega High School.
“We look forward to hearing about their future exploits and successes over the next few years.”
