She was the Country Nett runner-up and Scratch winner in Country division one.
Club members and officials congratulated her on the fantastic result against some fantastic competition.
In regular play at Bega, Wednesday’s stableford winner was Kerry Carter with 35 points. Margaret Atkins was runner-up with 34. Balls went to 31.
Last Saturday Veronica Coman survived the heat to win the day with 39 stableford points, continuing from last week’s good round Annette Britten was runner-up with 35 and the Nearest the Pin on the ninth.
Monday 10-hole ladies competition was won by none other than Annette Britten.
Second place was a three way tie with Sue Bethel, Lorraine Gregson and Sheila Schilling. Jan Horneman won the putting. Next Monday is a Dropout Ambrose with 8am shotgun start on the front nine. Ladies please bring a small plate for the Christmas breakup.
Saturday is a 10am shotgun start with only 2 sticks and a putter to win some Christmas fare. Next Wednesday is the Captains Revenge, 9am start.
Members joked they hoped she wasn’t too nasty after a good win and said it should be a fun day.
