Member for Bega Andrew Constance said he was very pleased to launch the design with four of Lot Stafford’s grandchildren – Ian, Kathy, Lynne and Eric – along with Open Space and Parklands Commissioner Fiona Morrison.
“This $600,000 investment by the NSW government will see the Lot Stafford Memorial Park transformed into a play space for all,” Mr Constance said.
The council thanked everyone who took part in consultation over the playground plans, with the concept drawings and design now on exhibition
Until Monday, December 10, residents can download the plans and have their say via www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay.
