Local students Alina North-Andrew, Zoe Pentin and Finn Stone will take part in the School Strike 4 Climate Action movement inspired by 15-year-old Swedish student Greta Thunberg.
The three students will join others in Littleton Gardens at 11am before joining in a human sign at 12pm under the guidance of Clean Energy For Eternity president Matthew Nott.
“I think it is really important to protect our environment and protect our future,” 16-year-old Zoe said.
“I was inspired by my friend who told me about it and I want to protect my future,” 10-year-old Alina said.
“If we don’t act on climate change now it is going to be too late,” 11-year-old Finn said.
