A full auditorium enjoyed a variety concert where every dollar raised stays in the Bega Valley to financially assist people affected by cancer.
The raffle prize of an enormous hamper of pantry and Christmas goodies was won by John Singleton and the lucky door prize of mince pies was won by Rhonda Byrnes and Rex Camp.
Organiser and emcee of the day Lori Hammerton and husband Gerry were thrilled with the event and thanked everyone for their attendance and support.
A special thanks was given to the artists who donated their time to entertain the crowd.
Liaison officer Peter Van Bracht of Bega Valley Can Assist delivered a brief history of the local branch and gave more thanks before the afternoon closed at around 5pm. Many people were so pleased they had stayed back asking when the next variety concert will be.
