The best of the day was Wendy Hergenhan with 35 points and the best second shot on the 18th for the nearest the pin. Maree Hergenhan won the nearest the pin on the 9th. Annette Britten was runner-up with 33.
Last Saturday was the return match with Tathra at Bega for the Jellat Cup. Bega started the day four points behind, with both teams hoping for some good scores.
The day’s best was Gillian Petersohn in Div.3 with 37 points, Div.2 was won by Barbara Ubrihien on a countback with 31 and Wendy Hergenhan won Div.1 with 35.
The Visitor’s Trophy went to Pam Hahne with 33 points. The tally at the end of the day was Tathra 157, Bega 173 giving Bega the Jellat Cup win.
Several ladies are travelling over the border to Mallacoota for their Open Tournament on Thursday and Friday. Next week there will be ladies playing in the Tura Beach Open and Wendy Hergenhan is off to Canberra to play in the ACT Seniors. Good luck wishes to all.
