Tarra Motors, which has operated in the Bega Valley since 1953, has a policy that local people should not pay more to shop locally since all dealers pay the same invoice price to the manufacturer.
“We provide all the services you would find in a large metropolitan dealership, yet we are on your doorstep. Ongoing, repeat business is our bread and butter, so we treat our customers with patience and respect because we want you and your friends and family to come back over the decades to come,” director Gudrun Stylianou said.
This advertising feature has been sponsored by the following business. Click the link to find out more:
“We provide personal and no-pressure advice, all of our staff are factory trained and we have access to the latest factory tools, equipment and technical support.”
Tarra Motors presently employs over 30 staff across their four brands: Kia, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen and Ford. They offer new and used vehicle sales, vehicle service, repair and maintenance, RMS roadworthy inspections, parts sales, vehicle finance and insurance and more.
John and Gudrun Stylianou are the current owners and directors. John said, “We employ people of diverse ages, genders, abilities and backgrounds. Since we bought the business in 2005, we have paid over $15 million in wages. That money is spent and invested locally, by local families.”
The wonderful thing about shopping at Tarra Motors is that you can meet and deal with the owners of the business who are at work and accessible every day.
“What’s more, we offer great deals because of our lower business operating costs. We have been able to sell our cars all over the country because of our competitive pricing,” John said.
“Further, the peace of mind of having a friendly face to deal with if you have an automotive issue can’t be undervalued. If you buy outside the valley and need assistance, it’s a lot harder to get help over the phone or by email. Developing a relationship with your local dealer will cement two way loyalty if, God forbid, anything goes wrong.”
Tarra Motors is very involved in the community and has provided over $150,000 in sponsorship over the past 13 years across a huge variety of worthy causes.
