In perfect spring conditions, more than 70 bowlers came together on Friday on Eden’s greens for a friendly morning game of triples, followed by a delicious lunch.
Of special note among the day’s winners were a couple of relatively new bowlers. Emma Pettit from Merimbula-Imlay won the 2018 singles championship and Jo Houston from Tathra Beach won the Faye Sproates novice trophy.
Both bowlers are perfecting their skills in line with their growing passion for the game.
Lyn Jacobsen, the district vice-president, congratulated those receiving prizes and thanked all members for their continuing support.
