The heats were played in great spirit with players enjoying the chance to play opponents they would normally not meet and learning from those graded well above or below themselves.
There were a few upsets and a number of very close matches as the heats continued, culminating in the finals last Thursday.
The club's presentation dinner is scheduled for Saturday, November 17 at the Bega Country Club where the club champions will be presented with their trophies, along with the announcement and presentation of the club's end of years award. Tickets are available by contacting Leanne Crowe.
