Bermagui men’s golf results for Thursday, October 25, Stableford: Proving the “hit it as hard as you can” theory sometimes works Dave Chamberlin (hcp 13) had the A grade win with 38 points. Runner-up on 37 points was Paul Revill (hcp 11) shading Bob Paine (hcp 10) on 35. Noel Haase (hcp 16) had the B grade win with a best of the day 42 points. Next came Ray Stephens (hcp 18) scoring 41 and Nick Stolk (hcp 18) on 39. Ian Reid (hcp 30) came home with 40 points to win C grade on countback to Les Atllee (hcp 35). Then came Len Murphy (hcp 27) on 38.

Results for Saturday, October 27: Foursomes Championship 27 holes stroke: Congratulations go to Dave Thomson (hcp 7) and Henry Loth (hcp 2) who are this year’s Foursomes Champions returning home with a gross score of 123. Runners-up in gross were Owen Reid (hcp 12) and Javana Fereti (hcp 4) returning with 127. Ray Stephens (hcp 19) and Derek Quinto (hcp 14) took out the Nett win returning home with a score of 104.25. Runners up in Nett were Peti Fereti (hcp 34) and Rob Ryan (hcp 8) with a score of 114.5.
Club News: Saturday 3rd November will be the monthly medal sponsored by Bermagui Sand and Gravel. This will also be the 1st of 4 Saturday rounds of the Christmas Eclectic.
