Originally from Sydney, she has released five critically acclaimed solo albums and her debut novel Goodwood was a critically acclaimed bestseller.
It has been shortlisted for the Barbara Jefferis Award, an Indie Book Award, two Australian Book Industry Awards, two Sisters in Crime Davitt Awards and a Ned Kelly Award.
Ms Throsby’s second novel, Cedar Valley, was published in September 2018. It is a compelling mystery set deep within the hearts of Cedar Valley and its inhabitants.
In Tathra, she will be part of a conversation with with Dr Annie Werner from the University of Wollongong and will also perform some of her songs.
The event is at Tathra Hotel, Tathra on Thursday, November 1 from 6.30pm. Entry is free.
