The Disney production, Tarzan, combines the local talent of age groups 12 – 60 plus a live orchestra which will take the audience on a journey through the jungles of Africa.
Director Victoria Cordova said the show is in its final stages of preparation with cast and crew excited for the opening night at Twyford Hall on Friday, November 30.
“The cast are all very enthusiastic, the rehearsals have had such fantastic energy,” she said.
“It has been a great milestone for the cast to finish blocking of the show. Everyone is now finishing off some final touches and looking forward to the opening night.”
Cast have ditched their scripts and are getting into the fine tuning of their roles, Ms Cordova said everything is coming together nicely.
“Costumes, sets, performance and tech are coming together are coming together nicely,” Ms Cordova said.
As a not-for-profit organisation all performers, musicians and stage hands are made up of volunteers. Excess profits from the production will be donated to the Sapphire Coast Social Justice Advocates group to support women and children escaping domestic violence.

Cabaret seating is eight people per table at a cost of $38, BYO drinks and nibbles.
Concert seating cost $28. Ticket sales open 9am on Thursday, November 1. There will be 13 shows from November 30 to December 15.
