Dog high jump returns to the annual family fun day, where there will be a lot of entertainment for young and old with a jumping castle, sticky wall, great music from The Hoops, dancing dogs and Peppa Pig. The day runs from 10am until 2pm.
There will be demonstrations of pottery, weaving, dyeing and leadlighting as well as learning about the U3A Sapphire Coast, RUOK suicide prevention charity and keeping bees.
There will be stocked market stalls, a chocolate wheel, face painting, Edge FM open day as well as the Men's Shed garage sale. As well as a sausage sizzle kindly provided by the Jellat Jellat Fire Brigade, vinyl records and books will also be on sale on the veranda of the nurses’ quarters.
This year it is hoped the $500,000 offered by Member for Bega Andrew Constance some years ago will finally be released and next year's event will just be a normal Spring Fair.
Plans for the cultural centre on the site will be there for all to see in the nurses' quarters.
